Hi everyone
I stumbled across this place while trying to find some info on Ovation guitars, after finally deciding to add one to the collection.
So now that I've got one I thought I better join up and say thanks for the wealth of information and knowledge available through you guys.
Cheers

By the title of your introduction, I take it you're of Aussie extraction? - Welcome 'mate'.

Meantime, tell us about your 'collection' and one of the really important people will come along soon and open the floodgates to the rest of the madhouse.

If you are an Aussie, there is a section dedicated to us that's not viewable to the general public called the Downundererers. Just today I was in Brisbane meeting up with one of the other Aussie members and there are 3 others meeting up in Canberra tomorrow.

Hope you hang around.

Welcome Dutchy, assuming you're Australian, which part of Oz?

I have noticed the Downunderers, ( and must say i was impressed) Ill pop in and say hello when allowed.
I'm from Hobart, in Tassie and have gone for a 2007 collectors(on looks, price and opinions here and elsewhere)
I wanted an ovation to drag around, hand around and gig with but it has arrived in brand new condition and
I don't think I can justify relegating it to my "use and abuse" acoustic!
It would probably divide opinion asking if I should keep it safe or thrash it, but I reckon I'll offload one of my lesser used guitars and invest in another Ovation as my work horse.
Anyway Im looking forward to lurking around here and learning some more about these amazing machines.

There is another recently joined Tassie member - Macginty. But he's only posted 3 messages so far.
