or even go to www.lostartvintage.com

I see one in particular that Al is selling brand new that's cheaper than Guitar Center's used price.

Can you post a direct link? I haven't seen a new adamas less than $1099...seemed like a fairly decent price for the white double epaulet ME model.

I wasn't saying Al had one for less than the $1099 one (though he might). If you click on the link OMA just posted, the second to last Adamas is a 1581-5 30th reissue... Al at Lost Art Vintage is selling the same guitar for $100 less, and new with full warranty.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Adamas-II-1581-5-Ovation-30th-anniversary-N...

I bought one from him, and it's the absolute best sounding acoustic I own (to my ear).

Summary...

Guitar Center $1999 used
Lost Art $1899 new

I think that's what's called a no-brainer.

As for that white one, I'd spend the extra $200 for the Adamas 1 they have in the LA store.

Oh i'm sure lost art is the way to go for new instruments. They have a nice selection...never bought anything there before.

There's also that lifetime warranty that comes with buying a new Adamas or custom USA Ovation, assuming there's somebody still there 40 years from now.
