Where's Bobbo??? Phil??? Jas???

If you like the Elite T's with the flames, check out this guy's art gallery . Flaming computer screens for every mood! He's even got tutorials for growing your own if you're the graphic designer type.

His art is clean and cool. I like it. He has images of skulls and flames, then a family portrait all dressed up in church. Either that's a clever joke or a funny coincidence.

I thought that the skulls combined with the family portrait were an interesting contrast as well.

Hamer / Ovation do some of the best ghost-flames I have ever seen, and as a biker, I've seen some flame paint jobs.

I don't know if it's the same on the Elite-T, but Alpep had a Hamer Standard awhile back that the ghost-flames actually changed depending on the lighting angle.

Speaking of painted guitar.. Ovations "Flag" guitar that came out in early '02 I think, still sets the bar for flags on a guitar as far as I'm concerned. It was painfully obvious at NAMM when it seemed every guitar maker had a "Flag" painted guitars, but Ovations' almost looked like a flag on a guitar.

I hope with the new goings-on up in Hartford that they get to keep the artists responsible for stuff like that.

Didn't we at some point along the way figure out that they farmed the flame artwork out to Pastrana , the same folks who did the NAMM one-off? Wonder if they were responsible for the flag, too?

I know a lot of us aren't fans of that NAMM guitar, but it's still interesting to see how it was done .
