Location: Bluffton, SC | I bought an amp from a neighbor of mine about 30 years ago and am now just getting around to find some information on it.
Yeah, I know - leave it alone already.
It's a Baldwin Pro C1 which I believe was distributed by Gretsch back in the day but I know very little beyond that other than it's heavy as hell and sounds great. Just looking for any information anyone may have - thanks. |

Based on current ebay pricing, I wish I still had it! |

Location: Bluffton, SC | Well, some guy in England was selling his C1 back in the Fall (see here ) for $2k Euro. Same amp that I bought for $50 although his is probably in a little better shape. Not sure II'm going to be selling it but it would be nice to have some info on it. Guess it was really never that important before - I just played through it because it sounded great. |

Location: Bluffton, SC | Thanks, Paul. For that I'll keep it in the basement and let the guys crank on it when they pop over. Frankly I was never going to sell it anyway as I couldn't see it as worth much more than what I paid for it. |

I have a Baldwin 712 sunburst 12er in excellent condition that will be passed on, due to the workmanship, to my offspring ! Mine had the parts made in Italy and assembled in Arkansas. |
