I want a 12-string Elite model, and the only guitar I can buy right now without waiting is Korean-made 2758 http://www.ovationguitars.com/guitars/product/standard_elite_2758ax...
I guess, it's a fine guitar, but I would like to know, is it better to look for USA-made 1758 or 1858 Elites? Or this Korean one is good enough to buy it right now without searching for anything else?
Who has compared those guitars or has any information about them?
Thanks! |

here is Bernie from Germany.
I prefer USA made guitars, but I've to say, my only Korean made is a B778TX bass and it sounds very good.
My first choice would be the 1758 Elite, an all around fantastic guitar. The 1858 would be my first choice for a gigging guitar. It's more comfortable to play but is more for "plugged in".
The 2758 I guess is sounding good if you are playing not often this guitar. If anything is worn out on this one, you can trash it.
