Location: Lebanon, TN | Courtesy of our good friend Mike (fugot) I have adopted a new 12 string baby. I was sad/happy/very jealous to see Lanaki secure that beautiful 1688 and when Mike mentioned in passing a 1685 that might be coming up that was similar but AII style custom, I knew I had to act fast. So coming soon to SE PA in the very near future is the following 1685-7X 12-string. Fulfils my desire to have a classic AE textured top 12 with relatively modern electronics.
So as babies come, your have to let others move on. Accordingly I have the following items that I am offering up to the masses.
2006Fkoa $1350 This is the one that came from Musicians Friend brand new and has never left the house. Beautiful but I have another that is beatifuller...?!?!?!
1997 Parlor Collectors $400(non original case and some checking -2" on upper bout next to fingerboard) I am keeping the other one I have with the bad finsih cracks courtesy of UPS and having John B and the mothership work their mojo. This was my alternate which I prefer soundwise but feel obligated to keep the more damaged one and have it rehabilitated.
1118-1 $600 from the Tony Calman collection so very nice incl brown case. Sadly with the 1659 and now the 1685 no room for three 12 strings right now.
2005 Collectors $900 Not really wanting to sell as it has just arrived but I have to provide some coverage for other plans for acquisition. This is beautiful and I love the pale spruce.
I might consider some trades, but they would have to be super special/interesting articles.
pictures to follow over the weekend. |

Thanks,

Location: Marlton, NJ | I gotta say - this is a lot of fun. With all of these great guitars available at great prices... not to mention the trades as well. My wife's head is spinning - she can't tell what's been bought, traded, what's being fixed, sold and so on.
I started out with 2 celebrities and tak eg10c that I had for a few years.
- bought the 47RI
- sold a celebrity
- traded the other celebrity and the tak for a custom balladeer
- bought the '05 collectors
- bought the Millenium
- traded the '05 collectors for the book elite
- bought the Country Artist (today!)
- will probably sell or trade the book elite soon and get a 12-string.
Then again... that's probably a days work for a few of you guys  |

Location: Lebanon, TN | John I received a PM about 10 mins before with an offer. You are in second place in case he choses to pass. Nice to know there is another friendly face there in NE PA. I come up to Scranton every few months so maybe a beer is in our future if nothing else.
Cheers |
