Ok, this is an actual Snakeskin: verified as a TS-01-8. No case but seems like a good guitar: I sure like mine! Here tis: Snake on the Bay

Here is the decription as he emailed to me:
THERE ARE SOME VERY SMALL CRACKS IN THE FINISH ON THE TAIL END OF THE BRIDGE, AND SOME OTHER SMALL/INSIGNIFICANT WEAR AND TEAR MARKS. IT TUNES WELL, PLAYS WELL, ACTION IS A LITTLE ON THE HIGH SIDE BUT I AM SURE IT CAN BE ADJUSTED, I JUST DON'T KNOW HOW.
I go after it but I am looking at several things at the moment: besides, I've got one and I'm not planning to collect them. Enjoy!
Blessings... ;)

I saw that... Love that snake-skin!!
But I don't like those bridges and sound holes.
Somebody must've liked it...

Did the seller drop the price by $100?

I could've sworn it was a starting bid at $450.

They are pretty cool in a retro way. A case for one is a sizable investment unless a used one can be found. The headstock on the T-bolts and '89 Collectors only fits in the case designed for it.

You can reto fit a SSB case if need be: the pocket for the neck rest is the big problem: it is offset in the T-Bolt case...possible to recreate/move it left in a non T-bolt case. Then a small indentation in the right side to accomidate the point of the headstock can be made with a hammer and large chisel...it is not that difficult to compress the foam in the inner case side and evenly recover it with a piece of plush...I discussed this with John Bundy at the factory two weeks ago as we were looking at my Snake T-Bolt w/orig. case. Can be done...better to have an original case...SSB cases are not super easy to come by.
Blessings...
