Something a bit strange, it was on a couple of weeks ago with two bids and now back again??
There's also one on Ebay UK for 1500GBP
I have bought my GS's for a fraction of that.
How many GS's were made, anyone know? |

No one seems to know how many GS's were made, but just based on how many I have and have seen, I'd say a bunch. There were 6 configurations plus 2 basses.
Bang-for-buck the GS's are a great guitar. The GP's have an "it" factor and Josh Homme brought them into the public light a few years ago which up'd the buzz. He no longer plays them out, but I haven't seen the prices really drop either. |

Location: Delaware | Footnote for AussieJames - usually when a guitar is relisted after having bids previously, either the original listing had a reserve that was not met or the winning bidder failed to complete the transaction, aka did not pay. This has happened to me only a couple times in more than 8yrs buying and selling in ebay. It has all kinds of unfair negative fallouts for sellers - sellers have to pay the sale and relist fees plus the shadow of doubt stigma that you mentioned in the relist. If you contact the seller in such cases and inquire about the relist, chances are you will get an explaination as described. |

How many GS's were made, anyone know? What's an Ovation GS? There's an Ovation GS2F listed at used.guitarcenter.com for $150 but there's no accompanying picture. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | That might be a good deal. Ratthedd, a GS is Ovation's Strat version. Check Miles'(Mr. Ovation) site for a detailed description and a bunch of pictures. The GS2F would be 2 humbucker pickups with a Fulcrum bridge. My GS2 is in my gallery with a Kahler flyer bridge. |
