Hi All!
I am looking for an opinion as to the value of this critter.
I don't know the model or serial number as yet, waiting on a reply from the seller.
No doubt some of you will know.
Slothead
Thanks :)

Pacemakers were nice 12's.

Value would be up to you (since I have no conception of the Australian dollar)

great 12's they go here for 350-650 regularly in good or better condition... look out for high action, neck dive, and lifting bridges...

but they're built like tanks and sound like you're playing an orchestra.

don't know what the Au dollar converts at.. but you can get a Glen Campbell re-issue for around 950 or so here.

there's one on the bay now.

Okay, I paid $365 US for mine, but I sent it for a rebuild... total $907 (acoustic only). But mine had Real cracks.
I see not cracks at all in the top, not even finish cracks.
I would ask for photos of the back of the neck at the headstock, to make sure no-one blew-out the skunk stripe trying to adjust the neck (like mine). And a side photo of the 12th fret for string height.
You've got five days, it could get spendy. If it looks good on the string height, I'd try to be sleazy and get a BIN.
Pacemakers are awesome guitars, and since the top is good, you will have 35 year-old wood!
For a Pacemaker that plugs-in, that may be a good deal... I have no idea about Aussie money either.

The price is up there but it does look in pretty good nick.
I have no experience with these.
What would be the maximum acceptable string height at the 12th?
Arthur I have asked for your suggested pics.
