So, in part due to a lousy guitar deal and in part just the economy of late, I am maybe looking to part with a couple guitars I thought were keepers.

1. 1987 Adamas 2 1581 in black. Absolute perfect condition, nice fleck in the bowl, OP-24 electronics, old-style Adamas logo on the access hatch, the works. Asking $1395 shipped & Paypal'ed.

2. 2006 Custom-made C759LX-FKOA Custom Legend 12-string. I ordered this custom a couple years ago, and since I don't play 12 that often, I am putting this one up as well. Master-Grade Koa top, rosewood fingerboard, carved walnut bridge, CL abalone body & FB inlay, contour bowl, ProStudio electronics (THE BEST!), gold hardware, MOP buttons, Koa TRC. Pics of this one are in my gallery...and don't do it justice. It is a killer 12-string, and on stage just sparkles. Asking $2250 shipped & Paypal'ed.

3. Fender Blonde Blues Jr. all-tube amplifier. Has been upgraded to Celestion GX112 lead speaker, upgraded capacitors, 4 Groove Tubes, and chrome kick-back legs. I think it's an '06, and works perfectly. Asking $595 shipped & Paypal'ed.

I can send pics on request. It's a busy season for me, so I haven't had the time yet. The 12'er is in my gallery ( on the old site) and I'll try to get pics of the others tonight.

Email or PM me for more info.

Andrew, sorry you got tangled up with the guy in question. Live and learn I guess. Best of luck with the sales.

If we all started buying pastry from you, could you keep the guitars?

Selling guitars never seems to solve the problems and you always end up with regrets......

Has "the-guy-in-question" been available to discuss things with or is there a glass wall and dirty telephones involved?

I've played the 12 string and its all you could ask for except for its one disability of being a center-hole (my little Epi-Snob inside joke).

I'm scheming for the Adamii but I'm as broke as the rest of us.

Unfortunately Cliff, it appears I have...a long sad story, that will do no good in further perpetuating I'm afraid. Like Jim said, live and learn...

In either case, I'm officially out of the buying/selling market for a while. Not that there's much of a market for anything right now, but I've got to liquidate to cash now all my extras to cover paying off my custom wood-box in January, and then I'll officially be a 2-guitar (acoustic at least) guy for a while. I'm keeping my Koa Tacoma, largely for sentimental reasons, so I'll have a couple very nice acoustics at least to work with.

Thanks for the offer, but until next April I'm not the actual "owner" so buying pastries is welcomed, but doesn't actually hit my pocketbook as of yet. Next year maybe...

And I have a firm resolve to never live with regrets. We only get one shot at life, one chance to live it right, and I believe firmly that there is a much higher sovereign power at work that causes all things to work for good for those who follow...I'll be just fine. I'm not hurting, I have health and a beautiful family, and that's where I put my value. Guitars for me is a perk and a blessing, not my life.
