Location: Jet City | Looks just like the one I got from Al, like new. I just had to check to be sure mine was still hanging on the wall. I think the seller got a decent price considering there's no case.
When I first decided I was going to buy a guitar and start playing back in the early 80's I bought a Preacher (and traded up to the UKII a few weeks later). There was a Magnum IV in that same store, and I was just drawn to it. It almost made me decide to play bass instead.
Phew! That was a close call.
Unbucking Falievable bass. There aren't any others quite like a Magnum. Every bass player that's sat down with mine has a hard time letting it go... until the fatigue sets in anyway. |

It was really tempting tho. |

Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | FRETLESS! OOOOOOOO... I'd like one of those! ... Got Pics?
I actually thought about pulling off my frets and filling the gaps with a maple filler to make it a fretless. Didn't have enough guts to try it though, and of course, that would have left me without a regular bass. My refinishing/restoration project has been coming along much better, now that I have stopped trying to finish the front and back at the same time (: I want a high gloss natural finish like they have on the Deacons. Again on the fretless idea ... maybe I'll be able to pick one up that's it poor condition, to use an experimental project. |
