I doubt I'm going to find any, but does anyone know where I could get a set of the pickup covers that are on the GP?

Also perhaps the vol/tone knobs?

Hope the price for the parts isn't as inflated as the price of the guit!! It's a great guitar, but it only cost me $200 to buy my first one....and it was only 3 years old then!

Thanks!

I probably have knobs will have to look. If I recall they were pretty standard anyway.

I don't think there is any place that sells the pick up covers. I fact, I'm not sure if they are covers. But if you do track so down, please let me know. As far as the knobs go any standard knob will do. Just pick a style and color you like.

The pickups are demarzios but the covers are speacial made and not available..I have tried to match them thru demazio and these covers and trim pieces are not available or a common item...You can find the pickups but no covers and trim.....

Kind of what I figured. The pickups had been replaced before I bought mine, but I decided to buy a pair of the Super2's just to see what the originals sounded like. I wasn't sure if the pickup design was unique or if maybe that's how Dimarzio made them back in the day.

Miles - if you find some vol/tones let me know. They are pretty standard, but I haven't seen them in any of my local music stores.

Thanks
