Today I went into a music store two towns away from the factory in Avon, CT.
Anyone who is in the area should stop by.
It has an LX Standard Elite New England Burst for $950.
Good luck on your search

glad to see some hitting stores, but the price seems a little high.

What is a New England Burst look like? Do you know of a website where I can see one? I just got my LX a week ago and I love it....

The Ted Brown in Silverdale, WA had an NEB Standard Elite LX as well as a Balladeer LX. Felt very nice and sounded excellant. I have yet to touch a Legend LX to complete the set.

These are darn good guitars!

Having played both a Balladeer LX and a Legend LX, my opinion is that the Legend is head and shoulders above the Balladeer (at least between the two I had the opportunity to try). The Legend LX, sounded better than the 30th anniversary Legend as well (to my ear). I liked the tuner beter than the OP30/40/50 as well.

Not sure if you were referring to the 30th Anniv CL - it has the OP-Pro. I agree that anyone looking at an LX should check out the 1777 Legend. I had the opportunity to play the LX Legend at home for over two hours comparing it with the three 30th Anniv CL's that I have. The LX is a wonderful guitar worth far more than the price (and about 53% the cost of the Anniv CL.) As to comparison with the Anniv CL, the Anniv CL stands out, as it stands out compared to several other older CL's.

However, the LX is exciting. A little advice - any of the quoted prices I have seen are higher than the two LX's I ordered through Al.
