Location: NJ | At the last couple of gigs, we'd play Fogerty's "Centerfield" while everyone was watching the game on the bar TV.
I'd always end it with " . . Go SAWKS!! . . ." to be be subjected to a barrage of thrown pretzels . . . ". . . It was a f@&^%** JOKE!!! . . ."
Might try it "one more time" Friday night . .

Location: Fort Worth, Texas | Cliff, check out "Joe Dimaggio Done it Again" from the Mermaid Avenue CDs of Woody Guthrie lyrics set to music by Billy Bragg and Wilco. Good baseball stuff.
That being said "Go 'stros"
Hmmm, Massachusettes vs. Texas in the World Series

| Alright JohnB! Me too! got a friend at work who is a die-hard Yankees fan and he gets to gloat all the time. Always kills me when the METS screw up a game.
I have never been a Boston fan but I am now! Well at least this week! |
