Location: Rego Park, NY, | I saw him live in the late 1980's. Can't remeber the year. Pearl worked in Chinatown and we met after work and walked down to the World Trade Center. He played for free in one of the food areas. The Smooth Jazz station CD 101.9 ran the event. It was some sort of Jazz after work promotion. This was before he made it to late night TV. |
