| Greetings-I'm new to Ovations, just ordered the 6751. My shop today said they're backordered. Are these guitars having sudden popularity or is this a common occurrance? BTW-Don't feel too sorry for me, they were kind enough to lend me a used one. |

Location: Waurika OK | Welcome to the OFC. I can't answer your question about the back order, just wanted to welcome you. Great that your shop loaned you an O to use until yours comes in!

| Thanks for the welcome. Yea, I go there alot and often buy from them. They let some of their customers take things home to try out. You have to fill out a card like the library. Their guitars cost more, but I think it's worth it. They string guitars that you buy from them for free, might be a big plus with a 12 string. Nice place. |

| All jokes aside - it's really good to support your local shop, especially if it's a one man business. My local shop sells mainly student instruments and sheet music, small amps and guitars up to about $500. The owner has become a good friend over the years and if I want something he'll get it for me - I go in tell him how much the big stores sell it for and he gets as close as he can. I pay him up front and we're both happy. If you don't want WalMart being the only supplier of everything in the world you gotta support the little guy. The cheapest is rarely the best. |
