The only way that photo could be improved is to shoot it sitting in a high-gloss carbon fiber case (i.e., like the case that came with the OFC-I). I would if I had your skills.

I miss our get-togethers...I have some great photo's of the 1687-7 up close that shows off its unusual top texture...as soon as I get the chance to look for them I'll post them...it was featured in a post some years ago that I believe Kurt started about the different top textures on the early Adamas...I also need to take new pictures of #119...it is such an unusual guitar: no fingerboard inlays; gloss back like the original slotheads; and mono electronics w/original dot knobs...it is nearly pristine...gotta love those early Adamas models... by the way, I got to hear Jonmark Stones 1681-5...what a great sounding instrument...of course it does not hurt that Jonmark can really play the strings off of it...very cool! Here is the picture of the bowl back on #119...heavy bronze glitter w/clearcoat...front is also heavy glittered as seen in the 2nd photo. Sorry for the misleading info...but it is different from the mid '78's and later Adami Edited by MusicMishka 2012-08-14 7:33 PM
