Location: G.B. | Hi,
... About time I write something here!!!
12 hours round trip last week to collect my second Adamas, a 1995 1881.
Was quite dirty, looked like unplayed for years.
All fine and looks dead gorgeous next to my Mill CB...
It is fitted with this equalizer:
Put new battery in it, amps seems to work, but only other thing happening is not very bright "OK" LED flashing continuously.
Before I dive in there, is there anything obvious to check first?
Thanks in advance for any pointers...
Patrick

Yes. When I turn-on the Tuna the green light flashes. That is what the Optima preamp does.
But when I pluck a string, the light with a corresponding Note lights-up.
Have you plugged it in?
Plug it in, see if you get any sound.
If not, open the back and be sure that the Saddle Pickup is plugged-into the Preamp.
Nice guitar.
I have a Black 1881.

T'will have to wait a bit since I don't have an amplifier at home...
See you, Patrick |

I once had a wood-topped Adamas, too, but FOOL THAT I AM I sold it.... |

I strung both Adamas with the same strings and played a few chords with the same pick...
1881 with the small bowl is deffo a touch brighter, but the Mill CB sound fuller...
Church of Sound...
