Got to spend all of last week in the great State of Florida.

Flew in last Saturday evening and managed to catch the tail-end of BikeWeek in Daytona (and all that goes with that).

As pennance, I attended Sunday afternoon services with cwk2 at Our Lady of Perpetual Loft on Amelia.
"Services" had been curtailed as the Concourse d'Elegance of Amelia CarShow encompassed the 17th & 18th pews. Some REALLY nice "toys" on display. Jeanette paticularly liked walking the golf course barefoot.

Unfortunately, that was our first . . and last sunny day of our stay. A rainy week off, and fuckwit doesn't bring a guitar with him . . .

Did the HistoricPubTour of St. Augustine and got to splash around Cape Canaveral in the rain (gotta big kick outta that . . . always wanted to go there). . . .

Next time I gotta remember to at LEAST pack a uke.

Bill;
Don't forget to visit the "Blue Heaven" when you go down to Cayo Hueso . . . not to be missed. . .

Welcome back Cliff.
You were truly missed!!!

A rainy day in FLA is still better than "A Rainy Night in GA".

My "travel guitar" is my deep-bowl Ultra-12.
I bought it used (sans case).
The only hardshell case that I own that fits it is the case for my SlotHead. Even though it's not the original "glittery" case, I'd still like to keep the case intact. Being that we were flying in and out of the souvenir-laden Mecca of the Mouse and the Duck, I didn't wanna even take a "shot" at a carry-on attempt . . . .

As I stared forlornly at the raindrops splashing into the pool and not having a guitar with me, I felt like one of those ass-wipes on the Taylor ads.

Luckily, there was rum . . . .
