I have a 1977 Balladeer Model 1111-1 the specs from the web say that it has a "Sitka Spruce A"top.
Does this mean it is a solid Spruce Top or is it a laminate?
Any Help would be greatly appreciated

The "A", "AA" and "AAA" are more visual grades and all of those enjoy the "curve" of market availability.

Theres thr straightness of grain, rings per inch and such as well. Archived discussions have gone over this if you like chasing older threads.
