hello,

can someone please help me to find out, which classical ovation this, offered on ebay.de is?

the seller mentions it is not a 1113 but similar (without golden machines). its from the US, built in 1980-1982.
on his pictures i can recognize, that the fretboard is not reaching into the whole as shown on ovationguitars.com for the 1113 and 1116.

the distance between the whole and the pickup on the berlin ovation is smaller than on all pictures i found on ovationguitars.com. is this possible?

thanks a lot for your answers, perhaps i will find my ovation. try to test it next week.

The guitar in the pictures is a 1624, Country Artist. Artist depth bowl and 14 frets to the body. 1 7/8" nut.

I think moody's right the only way I could tell from the pictures was the classical's have 1 extra small fret that protrudes into the soundhole and the Country Artist does not.

The neck also looked longer and narrower.

Look's like someone removed the label.

Count the frets. I did (altho' I could see from the position of the bridge). 14 to the body.

Location of bridge is a 14 fret. A classical (12-fret) has the bridge about 1-3/4 inches closer to the tail of the guitar. Dave
