I am interested in a soundboard transducer pickup. The ones that you stick on the soundboard near the bridge.

There is a variety of them in the market: Fishman with SBT-E, Barcus Berry, Shadow and others.

Do you guys have any suggestions? Have you ever tried one?

I have a K & K mini installed on one of my guitars. Mounts internally and has a really nice sound.

BTW; The guitar is a 000 Martin. Sorry

I love the sound of K&K's on my Ovations. If you have a preamp w/built-in tuner, soundboard transducers don't "communicate" with the tuner quite as well as the original Ovation pickups; but the sound is much more natural.
Also, the K&K's work very well with the Ovation preamps once you do a little soldering to connect them.

Thanks guys. Actually i was thinking of something like the Fishman SBT that sticks on the soundboard (or the bridge). Something that could be used on a #47RI.... ;)
