Recently i found a guy here in bangkok who just bought the ovation elite1778-5T with "OP-PRO.
He said it's a limited edition.
I'm curious is this is correct ? (never heard about it)
Then I found a pic from the internet here

Any guide? :) |

Location: Phoenix AZ | Some Elite-T have OP-Pro and some do not. If you choose to call it a limited edition or not is just marketing hype. I wouldn't get hung up on the name. Dave |

It's just a customize one, isn't it?
Official edition for me is kinda like RI#47 and collector serie which won't be produce again.
Only different preamp make no sense for me to call in limited edition and that's why i post a question to ask you all, OFCers.
thanks

Location: Arizona | My 1778T is only a year or two old and has an Op-Pro as well. I'd expected it to come with an Op-30, since that's what the Ovation website indicated at the time.
They're all good amps, so I don't know that it matters. I think we had the discussion once before that spec-wise the Op-Pro isn't necessarily the best one to have. I've no complaints on mine, in any case. |
