Used from Guitar Center online, a 2008/2009 Custom Legend contour bowl. A few dings and the action is a little high up the neck (and no shims, so will be asking how to adjust the LX neck). But it has a carved bridge! There's a 2079LX on Reverb a few hundred numbers away with a plain bridge. I had a 2002 1869 that I sent to the Mothership to have a carved bridge added (wish I still had it).

Take a look at the label in the bowl - it's mis-labeled as a 2059. But definitly not a 12 string!

So any comments on the label and why it has a carved bridge would be welcome.

The action was high, so I took it in for a setup, only to find that the aluminum block on the neck was loose. Long story short, we got it to Steve McCormick, who was able to glue the block securely back in place and do an LX neck reset. Now it's back home and plays great. Kudos to Steve and Ren-Ovation.

I thought Custom Legends always had a carved bridge. All three of mine do, but mine are from 1982, 1995 and 2004.

The only CLs that don't have a carved bridge was the first one, which had inlaid abalone diamonds and the 50th Anniversary CL, which is plain.

The LX line didn't have carved bridges on the Custom Elites, especially by the time the Contour bowl was released. This one was done special it seems. With the mismatched label 'n such, could be an employee build.

I had a 2004 1869 that came to me with a plain bridge; I sent it to the Mothership to put a carved bridge on it.
