| Love this guitar and look forward to buying better Ovations later, BUT I cannot figure out where the battery is for the electric saddle pickup. I cannot find a battery holder in the body.
Thanks |

If you've just got a volume and tone knobs, or two sliders...
And you don't see a battery holder, or a 9v connector inside, it might be a "passive" system.
Have you plugged it in?

| I did and nothing happened, so it may just not work. Thanks for keeping me from searching for something that doesn't exist. I will still enjoy a very good acoustic guitar. |

Chris in Yakima. Tell that guy to shoot some electronic contact cleaner into his volume & tone sliders on his passive preamp. Those pots are notorious for collecting dust & fuzz to interfere with proper functioning. If that doesn't help, he can replace the sliders with new ones, though that will take some research & acquisition. Since it is a passive system, he doesn't have to mess with a lot of integrated circuits, and there is certainly no battery to mess with.
So.... You can do that.
