Location: UK | Thanks to all the advice on practice recieved from the OFC on music practice and my 8 year old boy , namely
a) Definetly stick to practice
b) Definetly dont push practice
c) Go to Church
d) Dont go to church
e) Some suggestions too smutty to go into detail but involved undergarments and cheese being nailed to sound boards
f) Find a song and person who inspire him
Anyway major breakthrough has taken place , found suitably unsuitable song which he has been totally motivated to play and what can i say , the boys a genius , he can play and sing " 9 Crimes " by Damian Rice clearly inappropriate lyrics but that is certainly part of the fun. The final key i think was telling him that my future happiness and early retirement depends on his success . Anyway thanks for all the advice , does feel like things have shifted :D |

There's nothing better than seeing your kids really enjoying themselves.
