| I just picked up a 1979 Country Artist with a 2-knob pre-amp that's missing the volume knob.
I know I can replace it with a generic knob but thought I'd check here first. Anyone have one they want to sell?
While I'm at it, is there any difference between a 1624 and a 1624-4 or is it just different coding for different years?
Mine is a 1624 and is a natural color.
Thanks. |

| But, why doesn't mine have the "-4" when it's a natural color as well? |

Maybe they put the label on before they knew what color it would be. |

I knew it, I just knew that had to be it!
In any case, it's a nice light honey color with no cracks, finish or otherwise, and the top only has a couple of small dings that didn't break the finish. For a 39 year old guitar, there are almost no signs of wear, even on the finger board and no fingernail or pick marks on the top. |
