Location: Bristol England | I am seriously thinking of buying one of these but would appreciate any OFC members comments and any 'pros and cons' before committing myself.
I assume it was made in Korea which may put me off but never having played a D Scale what do I know?
All views good or bad appreciated.

Location: Munich, Germany | <p>I have one and don't really like it. Soundwise it is great and can easily be tuned down to C, but playability and feel are not what I am used to. Or what I want. Mine is strung with Mediums, because Lights are a little bit to sloppy, if you want a setup that is close to your normal 14-frets. But even with the best setup it is not very comfortable to play. But maybe it's just me. Location: south east Michigan | I sampled this Korean longneck a few times.
The good was that it played nice and at $600 seemed a good price.
That much I liked.
The things that put me off were....
Glued neck... It may play nice now but there is no real option if it needs a neck re-set.
It will never match a USA longneck for fit, finish, quality material, and playability. But remember.... it's a $600 guitar. A good enough $600 guitar, but that's it.
And this is the trump card.... Fender will not get another dime out of me.

I have not been able to justify a separate guitar for just a handful of songs.
If I ever do, it will be a used USA model. |

Location: Keepin' It Weird in Portland, OR | I just sold my Celebrity Long-neck yesterday to someone who like those kinda things.
I never found a use for it.
I had it tuned to "D", then I had it tuned to "B".
It sounds nice and full tuned to "D" with a capo on 2...
But so do my normal Ovations.
That said...
I once owned an standard neck TX... It was an Okay guitar.
I sold it when I bought a regular USA T and compared them side-by-side.
Like Slipkid, I am not pleased with the glued neck, but lots of guitars have a glued neck.
Depending on how much you are willing to spend there is a USA DS768 on Reverb
The TX would probably be cheaper... But it is cheaper.

Location: Latitude 39.56819, Longitude -105.080066 | I have had several longnecks but they were all the deep bowl USA models.
I loved them but eventually sold them all off to help fund my twin 2080 Adamas Longnecks.
These are absolutely my favorite guitars. I love the big rumbling sound and the versatility.
I can sing easier tuned to D but when I want standard tuning, I just capo up a couple frets.
Don't know much about the Fender/Korean versions but if I was looking today, I would try to find a deep bowl USA made longneck. They can be found used in the general price range you are looking.
