Location: Huntington Beach | I see several places inside my 1617 where there is a glue glob on a brace. Not at a seam but where glue apparently flowed away from the top. Anybody tried shaving the glue off to improve the sound? |

Location: Huntington Beach | I can see one piece that's the size of an adolescent western garden slug and I'm gonna extricate the bastard. I'll let you know how it turns out. |

Not to mention the fact in a 1617 you're probably working with a mirror and chances of collateral damage is high. For a lot less effort I think you'll hear noticibly improved sound by simply spray painting the inside of the guitar with a gloss finish paint or varnish. |

OK, never heard any usefull feedback on finishing the inside??? What does spraying a finish inside do for the sound? I am seriously curious, as it fits into an experiment with tone wood that I am researching. Can't say more than that, but I am in the proof of concept phase of the research.
Thanks,
