Location: Huntington Beach | I recently purchased a 1974 1117 and from what I can see, without sending a camera inside, is that the bracing has been stained black. The block where the neck is attached is black as well. Is this normal? Also the outside bowl is black textured with a glued on rubber anti-skid patch where as my 1617 bowl is brown with a painted on anti-skid texture. |

Due to National Security we aren't allowed to mention the tests of the reflective paint that was eventually used on stealth aircraft. |
