Beats the hell outta the Taylor T5. If you want a stage guitar that will sound exactly like an acoustic with the ability to switch to as much crunchy or overdriven electric tone as you want on the fly and back again, there's none better.

What precisely do you want to know about them? Fit and finish is superb, much like a Hamer custom shop model. Mine is one of the first VXT custom orders made and I use it occasionally for live gigs when I need to add a more pure electric sound to our otherwise acoustic set. It offers the convenience of one guitar, and the acoustic tone is remarkable from the audience perspective, more so than from the performer's perspective in my opinion. On the electric side, the set-up is pretty straightforward. Just think of Hamer quality and workmanship and you'll get the picture. This isn't anything against Ovation's shop quality, but they don't have a reputation for (contemporary) electrics. Hamer does, and the collaboration between the two shops appears obvious.
