It's not a prototype, it's an absolutely standard 1617 to which someone has added a bunch of extra pickups. Hot Dots? Yuck!

Cuz they work at Radio Shack? Cuz Witko sends them all the electronics he rips out of his guitars? I dunno. Why do people do anything? Why do I gloss my necks?
