Nice! When was that one made? There were some really crappy Epi hollowbodies made in Japan in the early 80s. The necks were bolt-on. Yours is definitely distinct from the 90s and later MIK Sheraton reissues.

I decided to do some looking into it and I think it was made between '86 and '89 at the Samick factory in Korea. According to this source I found thru Google they are the only ones with the "by Gibson" on the headstock. Don't know if that is accurate or not. But it looks like a solid piece. John

More recent ones were made at the same factory, but marketed as Sheraton II, without the 'by Gibson' on the headstock. That's at least one thing that sets them apart.
