| I've thought about getting an Adamas for a very long time. I started playing Ovations about 30 years ago. I'm on my third in all of that time. It is a LX Series Legend Contour 2077LX. Everyone that hears that guitar raves about the wonderful sound.
After reading the great reviews of the Adamas 2080 and listening to youtube posts of that guitar, I suffered a serious GAS attack and broke down and ordered it from Elderly. It was shipped yesterday and is scheduled to arrive on Friday. I am so looking forward to playing it!
I'm not sure yet, but I guess I'll probably end up selling the 2077LX. |

On the other hand, another Adamas convert in the making. ;)
Congrats on your purchase. You will love the 2080. It is a great guitar. |

Still my favorite. |

I agree. The 2080 has a sound completely all it's own. It sounds nothing like a typical Ovation.
When we were at the NW Gathering I could tell in an instant when someone picked up the 2080 and started to play. Didn't even have to look. |
