Location: Lafayette, Louisiana | Norse, I have one just like Bradleys coming in next week. Those older Elites are just beautiful. Wood binding, AAA grade top, full body, and of course deep bowl. I will give a full report on my 1537 when I get it. Can't wait!....Paul Hebert |

I paid $549, case and shipping included. Talk about lucky. I've been seeing some Ovations going cheaply lately, so you never know.
Good luck,

Paul,
An EBay purchase???
One thing I have noticed lately, this guitar is starting to open up a bit more. My guess is that this guitar sat for a long time, judging from the lack of fret/fingerboard wear. It just keeps getting better...
Make sure you update yor pic's in the gallery!
I'm a couple of guitars behind myself, maybe next week....

Location: Lafayette, Louisiana | Bradley, I had seen the guitar on ebay a few months ago. It was listed as "1985 Ovation guitar" I took a look and there wss a little picture of an Elite. I could make out the two knobs and thought this is nice. Well I was not here when the auction ended, and no one bidded. I contacted the seller and he said his reserve was 700, but he would take 500 for it. Cool sold I said. Well I didn't hear back from him for some time, and finally I gave up. Well the other day I get an email from him telling me yes he still had the guitar, and I could get it if I wanted it. So now I am waiting for it. I just love the look of the early Elites. Bring back the wood binding!...Paul Hebert |
