Saw a trailer for this tonight. Looked pretty funny, stars Jack Black (Tenacious D, Shallow Hal, High Fidelity) Anyone seen it yet?

Yes, I have. Funny thing is they sort of market it as a kids' movie here in the States, but I heard a lot of cheers and laughs from much older crowds in the theatre. If you love R n R, you'll definitely get a much bigger kick out of this movie. I know I did.

Hi Paul

Took my 13 yr old daughter who thoroughly enjoyed it despite her old man mumbling through "back in black" and other such stuff....I really liked it, shame it was a PG13 as I fancied seeing Joan Cusack getting her freak on aroused by singing Stevie Nicks tunes LOL

My daughter works at the local movie theatre. Norseman gets free passes, popcorn and pop :)

Saw the movie, and found it to be fun. My wife really cracked up as Jack was teaching kids "Iron Man" and "Smoke on Water" with the guitar, as I do the same thing in my class (something quick and easy that sounds like something).

Silly show, but it was a lot of fun. Black was way over the top with his theatrics. I would have not been upset if I paid $6.00.

Oh no, it's with the manager's blessings. Considering what they pay their help, free passes and muchies for employees (and their families)are a cheap benni!
