Deep shiny bowl GC was introduced in 1968, the Artist textured bowl model 1127 (like the one on ebay) was introduced in 1970 with the winged bridge and then switched to the 3rd generation bridge around 1972.

Thanks Dave so the 1127 model was first introduced around 1970 and the shiny bowl CG was in the balladeer family?

Shiny bowl GC was a more deluxe version of the original Deluxe Balladeer. There are photos in the gallery.

Yes, according to the catalog the 1127 GC Artist had VT-8 bracing.
