F'rinstance, Albertans are basically Texan-popsicles. Lovely folks but they still have a thing called 'the nonsmoking section' which is one table with no ashtray. (Legendary Canadian humourist Dave Broadfoot says, "It's like having a nonpeeing section in the pool!")

The only reason someone would live in Toronto is because they can't 'make it' in New York. (IMNSHO)

And out here in British California well,...that about says it all!

The only groups we have that are unique to Canada are the Quebecois (no comment), those wonderful weird Newfies, and a famous subcult made famous by Don Harron that reputedly lives around Parry Sound Ontario.

Personally I love to head North for a weekend or more. Used to camp out in the Kingston/Newport area in the summers and loved every minute of it. Come to think of it, road my first cow up there too...

I was there on OFFICIAL MILITARY BUSINESS, lol, but I did get a chance to take in the countryside... most beautiful streams you ever want to see. Gotta watch out for the bear and moose tho!

Sincere apologies, gents. Didn't mean to brag at all but it's not often you get to..well, you know what?...what happens in the barn, stays in the barn.
