Location: Blue Ridge Mountains | Hi Patch: I really am not sure yet as I haven't gotten the estimate...I'm guessing $100 to $200...it needs nothing else and I suppose this wasn't serious...it was like that when I bought it...but I want to be sure the bridge is good etc. I'll let you know
Hi Povation: thanks very much! It really is a rare bird...I have other pic's in my musicmishka gallery... |

I know it was from an OFC member but for the life of me I can't remember his name; it was an eBay auction back in Feb. or March...I have tried to find the original posts on this but again, no luck...I put it in a new TOL case and used its original one for the 82C which came in a cardboard case...It really is an amazing Ovation! |

Location: SoCal | Mike, if it was from Sam then I'm kinda amazed that it has any laquer cracks. If memory serves correctly, he bought the guitar on ebay, it had a natural top that had a ton of laquer cracks. He sent it to the factory and they refinished the guitar in black.
If it's that guitar (and I don't know), then it shouldn't have any blemishes on the top.... |

Location: South of most, North of few | I got my 1537 from Sam, and I can safely say, that man has no bad guitars. He told me it wasn't perfect. I have not found a flaw other than a very little fretwear (that I just had addressed at the factory). Now, it would be hard to tell the difference from a new one (if there were new ones out there) ;) |
