No, the one that begins with F.

I would have to add that he 460 is probably the equal to my 84 C-Series. I have used that at O'Kanes a bunch with similar results. It's easy to play and sounds good. The 460 is better in that it's got a built in tuner(that's easy to use and read) and has a bit wider tonal range with the Cool Tube and Tri-Ax cominbation. It gets real bright for Mustang Sally and nice and smooth for Into the Mystic.
The biggest factor is that the C-Series is in a case behind two others and the 460 is in front. Funny how that works.

It is interesting to note that what we collect and talk about isn't always what we take to the gig.

For bluegrass, Gertrude (1111-4) and Plink (cheap Galiano mandolin.)
For church, Jewel (CE868LX-4), with a Boss chorus box.

At my weekly bible meetings though, I use a reverse Gibson Firebird played through a 2 x 12 Marshall combo. Effects are kept to a minimum - maybe a Tube screemer along with a Boss Ultra Distortion. (We Brits eh !)

I just take the 1869, run it through an old Zoom 504 for some chorus and 'verb, then DI. Simple is good.

But I'm thinking of taking the AD-II out because she's starting to act a little jealous.

Adamas 2080 every Sunday in church. I use it with a Yamaha MagicStomp Acoustic pedal direct to our "house" PA.

On Wednesday Bible study, it again is the 2080 "unplugged".

My 1537 doesn't get out much anymore which is why I am thinking of selling it and getting a 1581 that Waskel keeps telling me is so fantastic.

Would have snagged the one in Portland if I had known in time.

ProfBB raises a good point. I take the 460 most of the time beacuse it's real easy to play, sounds really pretty good, is brand new and completely replaceable. The 1939 D-18 stays at home.

40% Elite 6778LX
55% Hohner G3T headless broomstick style electric with DiMarzio pickups
5% Alvarez Yairi 12 string I've owned since 1977

We play 3 or more times per month at church, mostly in a smaller room for the youth service, and once per month in the main sanctuary. Usually I'm plugged into the house system, but on occasion have to use the Roland Cube 30 amp. Rehearsals are once per week and use the same setup.

The electric guitar runs almost always runs through a Korg Toneworks PX4 digital effects box to add reverb, distortion, or compression before going to the PA or amp. The acoustic runs directly into the PA.

The new addition is a Digitech Bad Monkey stomp box to allow my volume to be boosted during solos. I'll post a review soon.

I'm always playing my AdamasI 1587 unless I'm in Japan where I have an SMT stashed.

Wanting to use my AdamasII 1881 but need to get the nut slots lowered a little; the guy I bought it from was using it for slide!

By the way, I constantly hear about the lack of bass in the shallow bowls and think they just need beefier strings. I love the bottom end on my 1881 with bronze Elixir Custom Lights, which have a heavier bottom.

I've used that Bad Monkey as a distortion box with an electric. I'd really like to know how it works as a boost on an acoustic. Thanks.

I've noticed how different Adamas sounds to the player and to the audience. At a gig last Friday I heard a live recording of our band and was very pleased: the sound "out there" was superior to what I was hearing!

Dammed church organist tried to blow me out of the water today - Thinks he's Jon Lord - (More like Jack Lord methinks!) Who's gonna back down first? None of the congregation can sit in the first 6 rows because of the volume! They all accept it because we're playing hymns. Thought my lead break in `Onward Christian Soldiers' would have finished him off, but he was having none of it. Taking a Marshall 4 x 12 stack with me next week and injecting it into the PA.

Don't mess with a church organist, man. They've got Toccata and Fugue in Dm and all we've got is Classical Gas. You can't win.
