If by chance you use web applications in your normal course of business and and are in the middle of things, you get totally hosed because all of your browser windows are affected. Not good.I would like to invite the members here at the OFC to check out AvatarMusicCanada's AMC-RADIO. (please see at www.avatarmusiccanada.eu > RADIO / or click on the SCHEDULE button to see detailed info...)

This is the first I hear about it, though to be honest there hasn't been much MAC testing... usually just IE and FF. I did look at the site last night however (at the studio where I work...) using a MAC G5 and didn't have any problems whatsoever. If there is a conspiracy here... I don't think it's being perpetrated by the Canadians...

Please read your PM's and dial back on the hostility. It appears this situation is needlessly out of control...

You have no idea how much it means to me, to FINALLY have someone say ANYTHING (good, bad or otherwise...) about RADIO!! There are some really good DJ's at the station (I don't include myself in that number, lol), but Malcolm, John Richards, Peter and GJ (the DJ) are universally acknowledged as being very good at what they do and they all have impeccable taste. To be perfectly honest I never even considered Safari when testing the site, but when I looked at the server's stats, I see Safari users make up 10% of the audience... so I will definitely take them into consideration in the future!! EVERY listener is IMPORTANT!! Thanks for the positive input... Very much appreciated.

Will give it a few days and see how much repetition there is. That's what has made me stop most of them, a fairly limited play list.

Right now we have 5-6, most doing 2-3 hour shows. So a 12-15 hour rotation. If listening casually over the course of the week, it takes a while to come back to your entry point. If prog is your thing (and I have to confess, that is my genre as well...), check out Gerrit's SYMFOMANIA. It is one of the top rated prog shows in the WORLD (according to stats from it's original broadcaster Holland's RADIO SEAGULL). Gerrit is a good friend and is also the bass player for Dutch recording artists, prog band SILHOUETTE... an excellent listening choice!! We all play lots of prog though, so it should appeal to that end of the spectrum...

I should have made that more clear, sorry about that... Thanks for the radio link... will check it out.

To stick with the topic, it's an AMC product and has a radio but it's not working. :) Had to push start one of these more than once back in high school (my buddy had one just like this 'un)... No... it was not considered a chick mag back then either... -Steve W.

We had to push start it most of time. I saw another one just like this one, same color scheme, at a hot rod show in Mesquite, NV while on a bike trip. It had a blown 502ci RAT motor and its rear tires were a bit larger. I'll bet that one ran strong, if not out of control.

They were all dumbfounded when the city purchased AMC Matadors for their patrol cars, thousands of them. With the big engine and HD handling upgrades, they weren't bad running cars. Nevertheless, in a short time, they fell apart and the City went back to Ford and Mopar.
