Poll Time!

I was wondering how many other O players on this board are also in a computer related field.
Seems like I run across a lot of musicians these days who are 'puter-savvy', and many of them are in admin positions.
So let's hear from you!

Waskel,

I tought computer classes part time for about 10 years, then I suddenly woke up. I dont really need the money, I really need to take guitar lessons.

I have a degree in Electrical Engineering with computer science and microprocessor backround. I am currenly the System administrator of the network that links the computers in our home. This position I am afraid is "more than full time." Hey dad....why is this or that happening to my screen. Teens.....gotta love 'em." I'm probably one of the few over 40 years of age that know more about the computer than my kids.

Later...my adamas is crying...I am going to try and make it happy. I wonder if my typing class that I took in High school helped me fret my guitar any.

Later fellas and femalelas,

I know what you mean.
Haven't taught (no degree) but I've been a sys and network admin and db programmer for 15 years... getting tired of the daily commute, but nothing else would pay like this with as little sweat.

Only 1 PC in my house - my DAW, which my wife has co-opted for her email.

5 more years and I can retire... maybe buy a little place in Honduras...
