I have a Peavey Encore65 vintage tube amp that I recently replaced the speaker. I bought a 200 watt Eminence speaker as the replacement and added a small cabinet with 2 midrange speakers and 2 horn tweeters. I wanted to try using this amp as a keyboard amp for my Roland RS-70 and that's why I went to a sturdier speaker that can handle more frequencies. It sounds really great except for the Gain knob. The knob has a bit of static in it as you turn it for adjustment and sometimes it just gets 'staticky'(sp)on it's own when in use and I'm 20 feet away from it. I want to know if anyone can suggest the name of a good electrical spray that takes the static out of a knob. I know there's such a thing because eons ago our TV repairman used something like this on our TV's volume knob. Thanx!

Thank You, BruDev. I visit musicians friend quite a bit and never came across this spray. Hope it does the trick or otherwise I'll sell the amp and get a real keyboard amp. Thing is, Im saving my pennies so I can get my hands on an EliteT 6758!

Checked out the deoxit website and think I'll try that first, get a mini-can and see. Thanx.
