Hi,
anyone here have guitar signed by some known artist?
Tommy Emmanuel comes to Poland in late may, and i plan to take my guitar to the concert and try to get it signed on front top. I hope he will sign an ovation ;-)
What are your thoughts?

If it is an Elite open the hatch and have him sign the inside!

Get some of that clear pickguard material to toss over the signature if its on the top.

I am holding out for an "Alpep" myself.

I had Glen Campbell sign a 12 string back in January. I used a permanent silver marker on a black topped guitar, and had him sign in an area that I don't normally touch when playing. Be sure to have somebody take a picture during the signing for authentication, then place a copy of the picture in the guitar case so it doesn't get misplaced over the next 30 years.
