Can someone point me to a source of info about the "history"/timeline of Ovation over the last five or so years?

The Celebrity Elite that I just bought from Sweetwater says it was made in China (I was sort expecting Korea for some reason). The paperwork and Warranty Registration card packed in with the guitar are from KMC Music, Bloomfield, CT. I went to their website to do the registration online, ut they didn't offer Ovation as a brand in the dropdown menu.??

You might want to browse a few of the many threads over the last few years about Fender buying Ovation, moving everything offshore, selling Ovation to DrumWorks and reopening the US factory a couple months ago. I'm sure no one did a timeline during that time. Next time you have a rainy weekend you can do a lot of catching up.
