I'm looking for 12er pre Kaman bar like a Pacemaker or better a 1618 Glen Campbell, 1658 or 1158 CL would be my dream. Anyone can help me?

I've seen it. Beautiful guitar but the shiny bowl is more beauty to see that comfortable to play.

"that comfortable to play."

I have a couple of shinies and they are as comfortable to play as any other deep bowl.

Additionally, they produce a wonderful resonance in addition to the history that is resting in your lap.

I have to agree. For several years, I thought the shiny bowls must be slippery as heck. I was very wrong. I have no trouble playing it while seated without a strap. Standing with a strap is no different than any other Ovation.

In all honesty, if you are fine with any other Ovation 12-string, this one will not give you any trouble at all. One thing you may not have considered; Ovations are rare over there, and this particular guitar is very unique. Even if you don't bond with it, you could probably get your money back out of it down the road.

Good luck with your search. But by all means, you may seriously want to consider this one. I'll be happy to work out shipping with you.
