| I have an Ovation 1112-1 from 1977-1978 according to the serial number. It is in good shape with the exception of the sound board. The sound board was crushed many years ago. I bought a new soundboard from Ovation about 20 years ago. I put the new soundboard on but never finished it or put the bridge on. At this point I would just like to sell it. I do not play my guitars much anymore. What would the value of such an item be? |

A quick google search can show you what they go for in working order. Here's the first one to come up when searching for 'ovation 112 craigslist'

You'll have to decide what it's worth for you to get rid of, or maybe throw it on eBay with no reserve and see what you get. |

Unfinished, incomplete (topless?) ovation projects usually don't sell for much past $100 on ebay.
Shipping usually goes $40 - $60 and a good used Ovation 1112 as per Damon's example can be had around $250.
Post some photos in the For Sale section here and see what kind of interest it gets.
I love projects at a good price and my concerns would be if the top was placed correctly, etc. |
