| Hi everyone i just got this beautiful guitar in mint condition.
This is one of the reasons of my curiosity.
Guitar is produced, according to serial number, in 1996 year, but looks like a completely new instrument.
I'm playing guitar for 24 years, but I have not had in my hands an instrument that is 17 years old, who is so well-preserved.
My question is: how to check the authenticity of the instrument and what would be the current market value of this guitar?
Thanks in advance for respond.
Regards
Mladen

One way to check the current market value is to do a completed listing search on eBay.
But value is so subjective... If you got a good deal it is a Good Deal.
As to the authenticity of the instrument... If it sez "Ovation" on it, it is most likely authentic.
Post some pics.
Eventually, someone will come along and upgrade your account to allow you to post everywhere.
