Location: Cork, Ireland | Is it possible to link to Flickr or other sites from the Social Network site? I currently have photos on Windows Live and on Flickr, and it seems tedious to upload seperately to each site.
Also, are people aware that there's an Ovation Guitars group on Flickr, and it does not seem to link or refer to the OFC in any way that I can see. |

Location: Wichita, KS | Mike, Flickr (no e in the name) is a photo sharing site affiliated with Yahoo. Since AT&T-Yahoo! is my internet provider, I had a free Flickr account for a while. I stopped using it when they put restrictions on the number (and size?) of photos one could post to free accounts. I could have continued using it without change for a modest monthly fee.
Flickr users can create albums, much like we do on the ning site. You can search for photos posted by other users based on keywords and you can join groups by topic of interest.
It's a good, full-featured service. I just didn't feel that I would personally use it enough to justify the expense. |
