Here's hoping all is well in light of Ida's remnants lashing your area!

Anyone else here being affected?

Batten down the hatches... Check in soon...

Iffy, I spoke to Tim's wife this morning...all is ok...lots of wind and flooding but not as bad as other parts of the Peninsula and Tidewater...Va Beach, Hampton and parts if Gloucester just down the road from my brother were flooded severely...folks had to be rescued with boats in several area's...we had three and a half inches of rain here as well...finally, sun today!

Alive and well here, lost power a half dozen times, the water made it up to the base of the house but luckily it didn't make it inside the garage. The sailboat made it through ok as well, good timing pulling it out of the water last week for the season, most of the boats around my slip received damage and the pier is missing a lot of boards. Lots of people along the ocean front and down town received flooding in the 1-3 foot range. High tide water level was just 3" under the storm surge from Hurricane Isabelle a few years back. Winds clocked in at 73 mph, so technically, we were in hurricane conditions.
Like always, this place will pull through just fine. Thanks for the concern folks, much appreciated! :D :D :D
